The Alamo

Harriet was able to make it to the Alamo. It was a beautiful day, the sun was out, and the heat was high. When she arrived at the Alamo there were crowds and crowds of people. She patiently waited her turn, and then found a spot to start her photo shoot. The heat bore down on her, but we were able to get some great shots before she almost melted. Once we got a picture it was time to cool off with a tasty caramel/chocolate shake from a local ice cream shop nearby the historic Alamo.

Got to see O'l Abe

Over the past year I have fallen in love with Abraham Lincoln. On my first visit to Washington District of Columbia, I was not able to see the Lincoln Memorial. However, this time around I was able to see this historical and beautiful monument. It was a very peaceful and spiritual moment...minus the foreigner who kept yelling and telling people to move because WE were all in his picture. There were signs posted all around that clearly stated: "Quiet Respect Please." I, Harriet, quietly waited for my turn to take a picture with O'l Abe. And what resulted has now become one of my favorite pictures.

Harriet the Haribo

I'm Harriet.  I'm a Haribo gummy bear.  I am also a huge fan of traveling, and seeing all this world has to offer.  I want to see everything - don't we all!  However, time, money, and extreme temperatures (because, let's be honest, I can melt at high heats...) sometimes makes it impossible.  High temperatures and all, I am off to see the glorious sights this world has to offer. (Even for now, if it's only one state at a time!)

Since I have your attention, I also want to introduce my friend Harold.  He's a Haribo gummy bear too.  Sometimes he will be seen traveling with me. (Especially when I visit romantic hot spots.  Hubba hubba!)

I hope you enjoy my travels.
